This Tuesday (August 30) from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, guests are invited to join Coinscrum’s {blockstars} event sponsored by Capco Digital, a company focused on Fintech and digital technology.

The event will be held at the Capco offices at 77-79 Great Eastern Street, London EC2A 3HU. Capco will also be offering beers for meetup members to responsibly imbibe.

Plutus, who recently finished a successful crowd sale, will present its new mobile app, ‘Plutus Tap and Pay’. “The response from our community was swift and tremendous”, says Plutus CCO Filip Martinka about their crowd sale.

Martinka will lead the presentation for the new app that allows users to pay with Bitcoin and Ether at any contactless payment terminal. Merchants do not have to accept cryptocurrencies. ‘Plutus Tap and Pay’ connects the blockchain with pre-existing debit infrastructures to enable NFC payments of Ether at numerous existing brick and mortar merchants that utilize the contactless payment processor.

Two other unique features of Plutus's are listed below:

- PlutusDEX : its decentralized exchange which provides liquidity for the platform by letting users trade among each other in a peer-to-peer manner rather than relying on a centralized exchange

- Plutons : a loyalty reward token on the Ethereum blockchain that acts as an incentive for users that shop using Plutus and which can be used to make payments with zero fees.

The Ether.Camp crew will be there to share news about their current major Hackathon. They will also give away some of their new t-shirts.

To sign up, go to Coinscrum’s meetup page.
