Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, today announced the appointment of Israel Buzaym as Country Manager for Brazil, reinforcing its local commitment to innovation, growth and partnerships – further expanding the crypto ecosystem across Latin America.

In his new role, Israel will focus on strengthening Bybit’s local presence through strategic growth initiatives, brand development, user acquisition and ecosystem partnerships.

“Brazil plays a strategic role in the global adoption of cryptocurrencies. Our mission at Bybit is to offer a secure, efficient platform and to actively contribute to the development of the Web3 ecosystem through education, innovation, and partnerships that create real impact. It’s truly gratifying to align my personal mission with Bybit’s purpose of building bridges between technology and people, helping Brazil advance into a new digital era,” said Israel Buzaym, Bybit’s Country Manager for Brazil.

Israel’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as Bybit accelerates its presence in Brazil with localized offerings such as Bybit Pay, a seamless crypto payment solution, and new initiatives like the partnership with Tomorrowland Brasil, where Bybit serves as the exclusive payment provider for the 2025 and 2026 editions of the iconic festival. These initiatives highlight Bybit’s commitment to delivering world-class products and experiences tailored to the vibrant Brazilian community.

Helen Liu, Chief Operating Officer of Bybit, emphasized the importance of the market:

“Brazil is one of the fastest-growing and most vibrant crypto markets globally. We are deeply committed to serving this community by offering more localized products and services to meet the surging demand. Israel’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue to invest in Brazil’s bright future and drive the adoption of Web3 technologies across the country.”
