Crypto Projects Towards the Real Moon
The phrase “To the moon” expresses the hope for an exponential increase in the value of cryptocurrencies. Recently, projects such as Dogecoin have sent physical representations of their assets into space, with Dogecoin being one of the latest to do so aboard United Launch Alliance’s (ULA) Vulcan Centaur rocket.
The XRPL-based NFT project, XPUNKs, distinguished itself as the first collection of NFTs sent to the moon. Intuitive Machines, a Texas aerospace company, launched its Odysseus lunar lander on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, carrying a disk with valuable data and art collections, including the XPUNKs collection, marking its presence on the moon.
