Revolut Partners With Trust Wallet to Enable Instant Crypto Purchases Across the EEA

Revolut and Trust Wallet have launched a new integration that allows users across the European Economic Area to purchase cryptocurrencies instantly and send them directly to self-custody.

Announced on December 11, 2025, the partnership brings together Revolut’s payment infrastructure and Trust Wallet’s non-custodial architecture, offering a streamlined entry point into digital assets with the possibility of zero fees in certain cases.

Instant Purchases With Self-Custody by Default

The integration enables Trust Wallet users to buy crypto using multiple Revolut payment rails, including Revolut Pay, card payments, and bank transfers, directly inside the Trust Wallet app. Unlike many fintech platforms where assets are initially held in a custodial wallet, purchases made through this partnership are delivered immediately to the user’s self-custody Trust Wallet, ensuring full control from the moment of purchase.

This approach reflects growing demand for seamless on-ramps that prioritize user ownership and asset mobility.

Zero-Fee Options and Supported Cryptocurrencies

While the collaboration offers “zero fees in some cases,” standard blockchain gas fees still apply, and overall costs may vary depending on the user’s Revolut plan and chosen payment method. The initial rollout supports purchases of major assets:

  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Ether (ETH)
  • Solana (SOL)
  • USDC
  • USDT

Additional cryptocurrencies are expected to be added as the integration expands.

A Strategic Step Following Revolut’s MiCA Approval

The partnership follows Revolut’s successful acquisition of a MiCA license, allowing the company to operate crypto services across the entire EEA under the EU’s unified regulatory framework. By connecting directly with Trust Wallet, Revolut strengthens its ecosystem and deepens its presence in the European crypto market, while Trust Wallet gains a compliant, frictionless fiat-to-crypto gateway.

As both firms expand their offerings, the integration sets the stage for wider asset coverage, faster conversions, and broader adoption of non-custodial digital asset management across Europe.
